Frank Frankovsky is vice president of infrastructure at Facebook and chairman of the Open Compute Project, an initiative dedicated to reshaping the infrastructure hardware industry to be more open, more innovative, and more efficient.
Prior to joining Facebook, Frank spent 14 years with Dell, where he was an integral part of building Dell's PowerEdge server business and co-founded Dell's Data Center Solutions business. Prior to Dell, he launched the industry's first rack-mounted x86 servers for Compaq. Frank holds a BA in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
In 2013, Business Insider named Frank one of "50 Most Powerful People in Enterprise Tech." In 2012, GigaOm named him one of "10 Innovators Changing the Game for Internet Infrastructure."
Vijay Rao is the Technology Strategist in the Infrastructure team at Facebook. He is focused on improving the efficiency and scalability of Facebook's system infrastructure . He has been driving these efforts across Facebook's compute, storage and network teams, lock-step with software optimizations.
