The ACPI specification defines tables to describe the various sleep and running modes that the platform (CPU, peripherals, drivers) support. This in turn translates into state machines and into API's which in the end request the platform to enter sleep mode or change operating point. The session will cover which options are available to implement all this on ARM v8 systems based on the standard Linux power management framework as well as how ARM PSCI integrates in the picture.
Outcome shall be way forward and task breakdown for the team to then define work items and engineering plans.
