An Introduction to ARM Trusted Firmware

10:05 AM–11:00 AM on Monday, Oct 28, 2013

Description

ARMv8 is different to ARMv7 - it requires porting of boot and runtime software that was designed for execution in TrustZone on ARMv7. For ARMv8, OS and Distribution vendors are now requiring the standardisation of hardware and firmware interfaces.

ARM Trusted Firmware (TF) is an open source project from ARM that tries to meet this challenge with a portable AArch64 software framework for EL3 that provides reference implementations of key new interface standards.
